Dog Training
Terms and conditions
1. Definitions
“Services” include behaviour consultations, training sessions, training walks, written programmes, reports, handouts, and ongoing support.
“Nutty Mutts” refers to Nutty Mutts, Gemma Mason, and any employees or associates.
“Client” means the person booking or receiving services.
“Dog” means the animal(s) owned or handled by the Client.

2. No Guarantee of Results
The Client understands that:

Dog training and behaviour work cannot be guaranteed
-
Outcomes depend on:
-
consistency
-
environment
-
handler input
-
lifestyle factors
-
Nutty Mutts makes no guarantees regarding:
-
behaviour outcomes
-
timelines
-
resolution of issues
Lack of progress is not grounds for refund.

3. Client Responsibility
The Client agrees:
-
they are responsible for implementing all training advice
-
success depends on consistent application outside sessions
👉 Nutty Mutts is not responsible for:
-
lack of progress
-
regression
-
inconsistent handling

4. Behaviour Disclosure
The Client must disclose ALL known behavioural issues, including:
-
aggression (dog or human)
-
bite history
-
reactivity
-
anxiety
Failure to disclose = immediate termination without refund
​
5. Safety & Risk
The Client accepts that:
-
working with dogs carries inherent risks
-
dogs may:
-
jump
-
pull
-
react
-
bite
-
The Client is responsible for:
-
their own safety
-
their dog’s behaviour
Nutty Mutts is not liable for:
-
injury to the Client
-
injury to third parties
-
damage caused by the dog

6. Training Methods
Nutty Mutts uses:
-
reward-based
-
structured behaviour training
The Client agrees:
-
not to contradict training advice with aversive or conflicting methods
-
that inconsistent handling may negatively impact results

7. Use of Training Materials
All training programmes, plans, and materials:
-
remain the intellectual property of Nutty Mutts
-
are provided for personal use only
The Client must not:
-
share
-
resell
-
distribute
-
reproduce
Any misuse may result in legal action.

8. Payments
-
Full payment is required at or before the first session
-
Nutty Mutts reserves the right to:
-
withhold services
-
cancel bookings
-
Late payments may incur:
-
interest at 8% above Bank of England base rate
-
admin fees
All recovery/legal costs are payable by the Client.

9. Cancellations
-
48+ hours notice → reschedule allowed
-
Less than 48 hours → full charge applies
-
No-show → full charge applies
Packages:
-
sessions will be deducted
​
10. Termination of Services
Nutty Mutts may terminate services immediately if:
-
terms are breached
-
behaviour is unsafe
-
payments are not made
-
false information is provided
No refunds will be issued.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: Nutty Mutts is not liable for:
-
lack of results
-
behavioural outcomes
-
injury, loss, or damage caused by the dog
Except where required by UK law (e.g. negligence causing death or personal injury).
12. Veterinary Responsibility
Nutty Mutts may recommend veterinary involvement where appropriate.
The Client accepts:
-
all veterinary decisions and costs remain their responsibility

13. XL Bully Compliance
The Client must ensure full legal compliance, including:
-
exemption certificate
-
insurance
-
microchip
-
neutering
-
muzzle + lead in public
Nutty Mutts reserves the right to refuse service if: compliance cannot be verified.
14. Complaints
All complaints must be submitted: in writing within 24 hours of the session

15. Media & Data
The Client agrees:
-
photos/videos may be taken for training or marketing
-
data is stored in line with UK data protection laws
​
16. Amendments
Nutty Mutts may update these terms at any time.
Continued use of services = acceptance.
